Science and Technology Journalist

My background is in biomedical engineering and neuroscience.  After a short-lived career as a scientist I decided that writing about science was more fun than actually being in the lab (who knew?). Today I write about science, technology and the environment for a number of print and online publications. I am also a producer at the local NPR and PBS member stations in Cleveland Ohio, and a former assistant producer of Science Today, a radio program produced by the University of California for the CBS radio network.  I am a graduate of Columbia University School of Journalism in New York City, where I studied broadcast and investigative journalism.

There is nothing more important and exciting than understanding the physical world around us, and in today's technological culture it's easy to get lost. My goal is to share my passion for science and technology with audiences around the globe, and inspire people to take interest in the amazing world we live in.
